Most dirt problems are logistics problems. There is either too much of it in the wrong place or not enough of it in the right one, and either way it needs a machine to move it and a truck to carry it.

We run both. Spoil hauled away, fill dirt and topsoil delivered, material moved around a site, and loads shifted for contractors who need a site kept clear so their own work can continue.

Do you need this?

If any of these sound like your property, this is the service:

  • An excavation or pool job has left a pile of spoil
  • A contractor needs material moved off site to keep working
  • You need fill brought in to raise a low area
  • A landscaping job has surplus soil with nowhere to go

How the job runs

  1. 1

    Assess volume and access

How much material, where it is, and whether the truck can get close enough to load directly or needs the loader to shuttle it.

  2. 2

    Load

Our own loader, so there is no waiting on someone else’s machine and no coordination between two contractors.

  3. 3

    Haul and dispose

Taken to a legal disposal or fill site. Clean fill is often re-homed rather than dumped, which keeps cost down.

  4. 4

    Clean up

Loading area swept and graded. Mud tracked onto the road is cleaned — that is a standard people notice.

What affects your price

Depends on volume, haul distance, access and disposal fees. Clean fill is cheaper to dispose of than mixed material. Bundling hauling with the excavation that generated it is almost always cheaper than booking the two separately.

We quote after seeing the site, and the price we give you is fixed and in writing. Estimates are free and there is no obligation.

Why it's different in Georgia

Metro Atlanta traffic genuinely affects hauling cost — number of round trips matters more here than in most markets. We schedule loads around peak times where we can and price honestly for haul distance rather than quoting a flat rate that assumes an empty I-285.

FAQ

Dirt Hauling — your questions

How much dirt fits in a load?

It depends on the truck and the material. Wet clay weighs considerably more than dry topsoil, so volume is often limited by weight rather than space. We quote by the job once we have seen the pile.

Can you bring fill dirt in as well as take it away?

Yes. We deliver fill dirt, topsoil, gravel and crush run, and can spread it with the loader while the truck is there.

Do you haul concrete and construction debris?

Yes, though it is disposed of separately from clean soil and priced accordingly.

Will your truck damage my driveway?

A loaded dump truck is heavy. We assess the driveway first and will stage on the street and shuttle with the loader instead where there is any real risk.
