Cleared.
Graded.
Drained. Done.
Metro Atlanta's ground crew. Land clearing, grading, drainage, demolition and hauling — one team, one number, the whole job. Fifty inches of rain a year on red clay is an unforgiving place to get ground wrong. We get it right.

You speak to the crew running your job, not a call centre
One crew, the whole job.
Clear it, grade it, drain it, haul it away. Most contractors do one of those and hand you a list of other people to call. We run the whole job with our own machines and our own trucks.
Swimming Pool Removal
That pool costs you money every month and you stopped swimming in it years ago. We take it out and give you the yard back.

Grading is how water is told where to go. Get it right and everything else on the property works.
View service03DrainageYard Drainage
Atlanta gets more rain than Seattle, on soil that barely drains. Standing water is not bad luck — it is a solvable design problem.

Most gravel driveways fail because nobody built a base. We build the base.

On clay that won't drain.
Metro Atlanta gets more rain than Seattle, and almost all of it lands on red clay — among the worst-draining soil in the country. Water that would soak away somewhere else sits here, finds the lowest path, and takes your topsoil, your driveway or your foundation with it.
That is why grading in Georgia is not just levelling. It is deciding where every drop of water goes before it decides for itself.

We come and look
Free, on site, properly. We check access, soil and where the water is really coming from — the cause, not the symptom.

Fixed price, in writing
A real number and a date. Not an hourly rate that drifts, and not a low quote with extras added later.

We do it and clean up
Machine in, job done, debris hauled, ground graded and seeded. You should not be able to tell we were there except for the thing we fixed.
What drives the cost.
Ground work is priced on what the site actually demands, not on a rate card. We come out, look properly, and give you a fixed price in writing before anything starts — so the number you agree is the number you pay.
These are the four things that move it on almost every job.

Straight answers, before you call
What areas does SouthGrade cover?
All of metro Atlanta and roughly two hours in any direction — Cobb, Gwinnett, Fulton, DeKalb, Cherokee, Forsyth and the surrounding counties. If you are unsure whether we reach you, call and ask.
How much does grading or drainage work cost?
Every job is different, so we quote after seeing the site rather than guessing over the phone. Each service page explains exactly what drives the cost for that type of work, and our estimates are free, fixed and in writing.
Do you give free quotes?
Yes. We come out, walk the property, and give you a fixed price with no obligation and no sales pressure.
Why is there no email address on this site?
Deliberate. Ground work is visual and specific — slope, access, where the water goes — and those get settled in five minutes on the phone rather than three days of email. If you would rather write, use the quote form and we will call you back.
Do you work with builders and contractors?
Yes, regularly. We sub for general contractors and work for property managers and developers on small and mid-size commercial sitework, and can provide insurance certificates naming you as additional insured.
What machine do you run?
A compact track loader — the tracked version of what most people call a Bobcat. Tracks spread the weight, which matters enormously on wet Georgia clay where a wheeled machine would rut your yard. We rent in additional attachments and equipment as each job needs.
